These photos range from one taken with my very first camera, a Kodak Instamatic that I got for Christmas when I was eleven years old, to digital photos that were taken this year. Enjoy the photos but please don’t use them without permission from me. Thanks.
Alaska
Alaska was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, the very definition of the word “wilderness.”
Yukon TerritoryThe Yukon Territory was one day excursion from our Alaska cruise and it was well worth taking the time to see this beautiful place.
PortugalIt’s no secret that we plan on retiring to this wonderful little country. I can’t wait.
Asheville, NCAsheville, North Carolina is one of our favorite cities. It’s laid back, beautiful, and full of great food.
San Antonio, TXI was never interested in visiting Texas, but last year work took me to San Antonio. I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful city.
NYCNYMy one trip to New York City was in 2004. It’s a wonderful city and a photographer’s dream.
NC Art MuseumRaleigh has a great art museum. From the art park to the Rodin garden to the various exhibits, there’s always something to make a visit worth the time.
Williamsburg, VAWilliamsburg is another of our favorite cities. We’ve been there three or four times and it’s still on our short list of places to visit.
North CarolinaWe moved to North Carolina in 1996. It’s been a great place to live and we’ve spent many hours exploring the beauty and history of the state.
FloridaFlorida is another photographer’s dream destination. My wife and I were married on the beach in Port St. Joe, Florida.
GeorgiaGeorgia was our home for many years, until we relocated to North Carolina. My wife and I both have family there and we still enjoy our occasional visits.
S.S. NoordamOur first and, so far, only cruise was an Alaskan cruise in 2016. A cruise ship was like a luxury hotel that floated. Holland America prides themselves in their decor and each ship contains a couple million dollars’ worth of art.
Booth Museum of Western ArtThis little museum in Cartersville, Georgia is a hidden gem. It’s worth a trip from Atlanta to spend a day here.
These photos were taken at various times and places over the last few years. The one thing they have in common is food.
MiscellaneousThese photos don’t fit into any particular category. They range from Mount Rushmore photo taken in 1971 to the bicycle taken last year.
